Positive: Location,layout,views,garden,quiet,peaceful,felt very off the beaten track,internet(until it crashed two days before we left),not far from anywhere. Bedrooms. Bathroom.

Negative: Cleanliness-flies a constant problem especially when trying to eat.- but we recognise we are in the countryside. Windows were dirty inside and out-we had to clean big hand marks and stains off. Toilet was stained and unsightly and a bit offputting-we get you dont bleach but there must be alternatives.Facecloth was stained ,don't think it had been replaced. Gite was not very clean generally.. Lack of English instructions for equipment and recycling-felt guilty binning stuff that i would normally recycle.The gite Felt a bit like a building site.- in fact someone was either drilling or hammering every day,especially early on the last morning. The Stairs to the basement under our gite just had tape instead of a handrail that was not in place properly anyway. Real fall risk. There were building materials scattered about the place all round our gite. Beds were all VERY firm- but that's personal preference perhaps but it didn't suit us.Didn't really feel like value for what we thought was a lot of money and the booking. Com site didn't really properly describe what we encountered. Thought it was going to be much more luxurious. All sounds very negative but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the holiday and all are minor niggles but frustrating nonetheless when paying what we did .

Positive: Fabulous house and garden with amazing views. Well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Excellent communication with the host. The beds were very comfy and everywhere was very clean. The property is situated just outside of Reims, we parked on the outskirts and took a tram in, which was very easy. Supermarkets and restaurants are just a short drive away. My little boy loved the swing in the garden too.

Negative: No issues for us at all.
