Summary: This house is very comfortable and very well appointed and we enjoyed its amenities. It was the best rental property that we stayed in during our three weeks in France. The mature garden is large and enclosed with open views of the surrounding countryside and Reims. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of exploring the garden while we enjoyed a barbeque on our private terrace. It was a great base from which to visit Reims, it’s cathedral and champagne houses. We also enjoyed a day out to Hautvillers. The owner is a beekeeper and we enjoyed talking to him about the bees and bought some of his delicious honey.

Summary: The house is nice and the photos are accurate. The view is very nice overlooking fields and the champagne area. It is near Reims. The location is very quiet, but with car you can be within 15 min in the heart of Reims. The owners are beekeepers who make lovely honey which you can buy there.

Summary: Loved our short stay in the "gite", so nice having a good size garden for our kids to run around in. We found it very relaxing sitting in the garden with our tea and coffee whilst they played on the swings. The cottage was lovely and very comfy and in a great location, we enjoyed a lovely sunset walk through the fields by the cottage, yet only 10minutes from Reims. Wish we could have stayed longer! One thing to note if in Reims on a sunday lots of things are shut including many champagne houses! I left it too late to book a guided tour anything that was open was fully booked but managed to do a self guided tour at Pommery which was excellent, very interesting history and first class champagne.
