Positive: Although we were only staying for one night, we were made very welcome by the hosts Antoine and Stéphanie. Antoine took time to show us round the facilities and explain arrangements for breakfast etc. We were shown around the large, tranquil garden which is available for guests to use. The room was clean, equipped with everything needed for a short stay and the mattress was very comfortable. The selection of freshly made produce at breakfast was outstanding.

Negative: As the B&B is a renovation of an older building, a little creaking of floorboards from the neighbouring room is to be expected but this was not a problem for us.

Summary: A very agreeable stay in a sympathetically renovated peaceful setting

Positive: This was definitely the good life in France - the surroundings, the ambience, the quiet, just everything about here was fantastic. The hosts were extremely polite and were better at English than I was at French. Couldn't say enough good things about here. Will stay again, again and again.

Positive: Fabulous place in a beautiful and quiet location. Room very comfortable. Really good shower! The hosts were very nice and went overboard to prepare an early breakfast as we had to leave early to catch the ferry. The breakfast was all very wholesome with homemade bread and jam etc. Can thoroughly recommend.

Negative: The only criticism I might have is that although the bed was a double, it seemed a bit small but it was comfortable so not really a problem.

Summary: A beautiful place in a beautiful location with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Positive: Stephanie and Antoine were very welcoming - we felt Le Qui Dort was home away from home. The meals were delicious of a superior restaurant quality. The variety at breakfast was comprehensive, pastries, cereals, fruit yoghurt and eggs (supplied by the on-site hens!) Dinners were delicious, a different menu each night (we stayed for 3 nights) and the atmosphere was warm throughout our stay. We highly recommend staying here. Antoine was a great source of information regarding local sights and things to do in the area. The garden was a great place to relax and have a drink before dinner.

Summary: Wonderful experience of French hospitality in a relaxing and comfortable environment.

Positive: Warm welcome ! Room very clean. we also reverved the dinner, it was delicious and made with regional products. The breakfast was very varied and tasty, with homemade jam, bread and brioche. We also had the chance to try some crêpes; so good! Thank you so much !

Positive: We had a most enjoyable overnight stay at L'Eau qui Dort. The hosts, Stephanie and Antoine, gave us a very warm welcome. A very nice house with a big garden, lovely and quiet on the outskirts of a village; renovated with both care and flair by the owners in an open, light, airy style. We had a large, pleasant and well-equipped room. in the morning we were greeted with a delicious breakfast, much of which fresh and home-made, and some very convivial conversation with S&A. It's a delightful place and they are delightful people. Highly recommended. The house is only half an hour's drive from St Malo so provided a very good 'etape' for us the night before we had to catch the ferry home.
