Positive: From the minute I walked in the door I felt welcome. I was actually a bit low as my friend I had been travelling with had gone home , I had a terrible cold and was attending a cooking class alone for the next week. John , Sue and their marvelous dog Mollie made my week amazing. Their brilliant sense of humor and endless kindness couldn’t have been any more lovely. John has obviously been in France for years as his breakfasts were delicious, from the perfect eggs to the crepes…had to limit self so I could enjoy my cooking class. Thank you Sue for the perfect “cuppa” tea and the laughs. My trainers were stained with wine as I dropped a nice bottle of wine in the bag with them…Sue immediately washed them and John made sure they dried near the heater and on the line…ended up perfectly fine. The spacious room with a giant bathroom and sitting area was perfect. Parking was easy, and John even checked on me when I was leaving for a 7am flight from Rennes at 0400…sleepily asked if I would like some tea as well as insisting he carried my suitcase to my car…Lol. They were tops!!

Positive: We had a lovely stay with Susan and John in Collinée. They welcomed us warmly and were very attentive to our needs. The room was spacious, pretty and comfortable and the bathroom was also large and nice. I recommend to anyone going to Brittany and would definitely go back.

Positive: john & sue ( & mollie) made us feel at home in their home. this was the first time staying with english owners after visiting france for over 25 years & we were made to feel like old friends although we had only just met them. our room was large with a comfortable bed and the en-suite had a bath with shower over and a separate stand alone shower

Positive: The room we had was large with a very spacious shower room that also has a bath. The large double bed was very comfortable and there was also tea, coffee and a kettle in the room. Plenty of places to plug in chargers etc. John and Susan presented us with with varied and more than ample lovely breakfasts each morning. They made us feel so very welcome it was like home from home and I would challenge anyone who couldn’t get on with them and their lovely friendly dog Molly. They gave us use of their outside table plus plates and cutlery for eating in one evening when we chose not to eat out. Eating out means driving not too far to places that they suggested and we were never let down. Parking is very nearby or virtually outside in a parking bay and tho I’m fussy about where I park my car there were never any problems as it’s fairly quiet. A great place to stay and we will certainly stay there again as we have a specific reason to visit the area again very soon. And for those like us who speak no French they are English but French is also spoken.

Summary: John and Susan are the perfect hosts and made us feel at home as soon as we walked in.
