Positive: I lived here, but not in the Kumara villa, nearby in a three-story villa. I took a room on the first floor. A room is clean and have everything you need and for cooking. No wi-fi. The owner always responded on whatsapp. Special thanks to his brother, he helped me with any questions and took me to the bus stop on my last day) In the evening can hear the sound of the ocean. Kumarakanda beach is very nice. A quiet place surrounded by friendly locals. 5 minutes walk to the main road

Negative: Mosquitoes. Electric mosquito repellent solves the problem

Positive: We loved to be a bit tucked away from the busy Center and surrounded by friendly locals! The place has gone above and beyond our expectations, clean, spacious and cool enough to rest during the heat times of the day. Owners are lovely and offered us coffee as we arrived and was also really good to have a simple kitchen if we wanted to cook or keep some things in the fridge! Can’t beat the price too, highly recommend 🙏🏽
