Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a lovely house in a nice quiet location, which was perfect for our family holiday and to explore Istria by car. The house was a good size, and the small swimming pool was a welcome bonus during the heat of the summer. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, and the BBQ area and outdoor dinner table were perfect for us. Aside from the neighbour's dogs getting excited whenever someone drove by, the place was lovely and quiet and was only a few minutes' drive to Svetvinčenat, where there are some lovely restaurants and a supermarket.

Negative: On arrival, we had to wait in the car for an hour for the host to come and hand over the keys, but when she arrived, the host was super friendly throughout our stay and was available over WhatsApp when needed. The air-con was good but limited to the lounge/diner and the main bedroom, which meant our kids didn't sleep very well because of the heat. The beds were the biggest problem and the main reason for not rating this place 10. They were very uncomfortable, particularly the double bed in the main bedroom, which felt broken in the centre. My wife and I constantly fell into the centre, waking each other up during the night - far from ideal for a holiday. Overall, a good stay and if they fix the beds and add air-conditioning in the 2nd bedroom, then we would highly recommend staying here.
