Positive: This is a wonderful, smart, clean, and stylish villa. We stayed as a couple, with our nine-year-old son, and my mother-in-law (80s). We stayed for 9 nights in early October. We all had lovely bedrooms with stunning views, and we gave the ensuite one to my mother-in-law. The living space is open and airy, with a great relationship to the outside space via the sliding doors. Cleaning service perfect and our host was extraordinary and attentive. The kitchen is well-equipped (electric hob, not induction), with an oven, toaster, coffee filter, cooking equipment, microwave, and ample fridge/freezer. I hadn’t read before arrival that the wind makes BBQs a fire hazard, which I totally understand. However, I would have loved to have been able to cook outside, especially as there are so many great grocery options; note there are two well stocked mid size supermarkets in Palaiochóra. The outside area is beautiful, and while it was windy on our trip, we made great use of it. We were in the East Villa, and that villa doesn’t offer the option to heat the pool, but the West villa does. That was fine, but it meant that my husband and mother-in-law had no interest in using the pool! They did paddle, however. One observation is that there is some construction going on along these hills, which is unsurprising given the great location -go now before everyone else does! We were aware of this visually but undisturbed by it, and it’s very low lying. The trip down to Palaiochóra is 15/20 minutes on foot, but we often took the car. In October, we had no problem with parking. We took a taxi back once, and that was only 5 euros and organised easily via WhatsApp. There are lots of great places to eat and drink. We also enjoyed taking the ferry East towards Sougia and Loutro (8.30am departure each day). The drives were fine, but not popular with all the family due to the twists and turns! We particularly enjoyed the Grammeno Beach area, which is about seven minutes away to the west.

Negative: We understand that wind means BBQs cause a fire hazard but some form of outside cooking option would make things perfect, even if that was gas grill or electric option. Would have loved it if the pool was heated. However we appreciate that both these things are clear in the description and they didn't stop us from having a wonderful trip.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay! The host welcomed us very warmly and was extremely kind. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, new, and modern. The views were beautiful, and the area was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended! 🙂

Positive: The villa was absolutely amazing! It had an incredible view. The owners were incredible as well, really nice, they went out of their way to make sure we have the best stay possible. The villa is also in a very good place, there aren’t any other villas around so you get as much peace and quiet as possible but when you decide you want to go somewhere, the town is not even 5 minutes away with a car. Plus the beach is really close as well! We had an amazing time!

Positive: The property is superb, beautiful views onto the sea, nice pool, very comfortable and well equipped- amongst the best properties we have stayed in on holiday. The communication with the owners was great, and even though we didn't arrive until midnight (our flight was delayed) they were there to meet us with some supplies and they'd also bought us pizza. Exceptional service.

Negative: It's not that we didn't like it more for information. The villa is on a hill which is why you get such great views. The walk into town is quite easy and is around 20 minutes, the walk up isn't so easy especially after a night out. But even though we didn't have a car it wasn't such a problem as there is a very friendly and efficient taxi service in town that the owners recommended to us. Also really good value, for 7 of us in a van just 10 euros

Summary: Fantastic villa, would highly recommend it.

Positive: This stunning villa, with amazing views and the most friendly helpful hosts, is one not to be missed if you’re considering Paleochora for a holiday. The attention to detail at the villa, which is superbly equipped and has the most comfortable beds with sumptuous pillows makes staying there even more enjoyable, with plenty of towels, a pair of slippers and a robe, you could be in a spa hotel. The hosts, Nikos and Loukia were super helpful. Our plane was delayed but Nikos waited at the villa until the early hours to greet us, having brought us some pizzas as he guessed we’d be hungry when we arrived. Little touches Iike that and providing many recommendations for places to eat and to visit and swiftly responding to any queries we had was really excellent. The villa is spotless - the cleaner Eftychia, is a real gem and is meticulous in keeping the villa looking fabulous. Do not think twice about booking this villa- you won’t be disappointed.

Positive: This was a very very special place. I was worried that the house would not look as nice as it does in the pictures but it turns out that it looks even better. We were blown away by the home and could not get enough of the outdoor pool, view and lounge space. We are already planning our next trip back with our oldest who sadly could not make this trip. The whole experience was a 20 out of 10 :)

Negative: Honestly, we loved it all! Even loved how the doors were quiet, the size of the fridge, the beds were comfy- we loved it all!

Summary: Epic Getaway that healed our souls and rejuvenated our spirits.
