Positive: Villa was clean and tidy, spacious enough for 8 people, it had well equipped kitchen and bbq area, lovely swimming pool and garden. Hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcomed us with delicious cakes, fruits and other food.

Positive: Spent time searching for what was perceived as our perfect villa for our family of 8 on one of our favourite islands, Crete. Krissa Villa lived up to our expectations and more. Spacious well maintained property with sea view balconies off each room, mosquito screens and external electric shutters on the windows, good air conditioning but also kept cool with a nice breeze blowing through the villa, fabulous swimming pool surrounded by a fenced private garden of olive and fruit trees, excellent outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. The location was very peaceful, an easy walk to a good supermarket (which sells pretty much all you would need during your stay), restaurants, bakeries and a good sandy beach which and has not been spoilt by masses of sun beds. There is a bus stop nearby, 2e into Rethymnon or 20e by taxi. All pre-holiday communication through Rentado was very good and ensured all went smoothly. Last but definitely not least, Maria was fabulous during our stay, thank you so much for the treats, the best Pastitsio you made for our family enjoyed also by the baby 🙂. Truly appreciated the most amazing welcome hamper enjoyed by us all. Our time at Krissa Villa for a special Birthday celebration will leave our family with very positive happy memories.

Positive: Fantastic property, the owners lived next door and were so kind, didnt speak english but laid on a fabulous welcome food basket with amazing home made cake, she kept popping in with fruit and home made food - jam, raki, olive oil and apple crumble as well as bread. they went above and beyond. The villa was huge, very clean and plenty of room for us all. Great outside area and beautiful pool area.

Negative: The day before we left i had a txt from the holiday rental company who manage the property demanding an extra £50 for tax purposes, apparently this was due as the legislation had changed earlier in the year. not only was this most inconvenient, it came across as unprofessional and very rude. We booked over a year ago and paid in full by end of May so they had plenty of time to let us know of any changes but they left it till the day before checkout. It really put a black mark on our great time there.

Positive: Krissa Villa is a beautiful, spacious villa, placed in a great location, with everything you need for a holiday to remember. Pool is a dream! Maria was so helpful, friendly and welcoming, she even cooked few delicious meals for us. Everything was beyond expectation!

Positive: A beautiful spacious villa perfect for our group of two families. Air conditioning was very effective as were the electric shutters on all windows. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch each day on the terrace with sea views. We all enjoyed days around the pool and were in easy walking distance of the beach, supermarkets, tavernas and ice cream shops. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and a nice surprise of a well stocked fridge when we arrived along with some delicious pastries. Mary and Mimis took great care of us and brought us treats on many occasions and we were all sad to say goodbye to them! We also had Mary cook for us one night and had the best moussaka we have ever tasted! Eleni was super helpful with the booking process and organised our airport transfer for us. We would not hesitate in recommending Krissa Villa and hope we can return one day.

Positive: The pool area is beautiful and well equipped with loungers, umbrellas and accessories. There is more than adequate space for a couple of vehicles to park off-street. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, supplemented by the outdoor kitchen area. Rooms are spacious compared with other homes we've rented throughout Greece.

Positive: We had an amazing holiday at Krissa Villa. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The filled fridge was especially nice when we arrived on our first day. It was very hot during our vacation and we were very grateful for the air conditioning and also for the pool. Our host Eleni and Mimis and Mary are wonderful people, we felt very welcome. Every question was answered directly.
