Positive: The property was a very nice base for further travel to other islands. Right at the doorstep you had the possibility to snorkel (we saw turtles, starfish, blacktip sharks, stingrays and dolphins and on one occasion a sea snake.). Donald and the team were very welcoming and accommodating. Shoutout to Frengki and Rido for all of our day trips and the sunset ukulele on the way back after a wavy day. The food was rather simple but delicious, especially all of the fresh fish and Tempe. Be prepared to live as one with nature… The property was very clean and well maintained.

Positive: Great Location with three huts over the water, wonderful house reef, food was typical RA but yummi and plenty. Super nice staff which also offered good snorkel trip to Citrus Reef- a must go- a super healthy reef nearby. Facility were very basic, but didn’t bother us. All in all we liked it a lot and would highly recommend it.

Negative: Except the very basic facilities, all was great.

Positive: Staying at this homestay in Raja Ampat was truly a magical experience. The natural surroundings are absolutely breathtaking — crystal-clear water, lush green islands, and some of the most beautiful marine life I’ve ever seen. It feels like being in a dream. The whole environment is peaceful and untouched, allowing you to fully disconnect and enjoy nature at its purest. If you’re looking for a simple, authentic, and unforgettable experience, this place is perfect.

Negative: The only small suggestion would be to improve the variety of food, as some days it can feel a bit limited. The vegetable dishes were always delicious! Thank you!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay in Korbekwan! It's so idyllic. Stunning seascape. We woke up in the mornings to birds and dolphins jumping, a whale, magical sunrises and a truely great reef. We saw humphead wrasse, sharks, sea snakes, squid, and too many others to note. We went on some excellent excursions organised by the homestay and swimming with manta rays will always be something to remember. The food was basic but good- lovely veg, and freshly caught fish. The people there are very friendly. Also hugely good value for money

Positive: Korbekwan Homestay is a dream! We stayed in one of their beautiful cabanas, with the most amazing house reef right at our doorstep. The reef is more beautiful and alive than we’ve seen on any snorkeling tours. There are tons of fish, the coral is very healthy, and to the right of the dock there are three incredible giant clams. We loved our time at Korbekwan. Waking up in the morning with the most peaceful scenery, nothing nearby, a beautiful green mountain in the back, the songs of bird of paradise, gorgeous blue water in front of you… and at night the most beautiful starry sky. The cabanas are simple, but have everything you need. Tours and boats were reasonably prized, the staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. Highly highly recommended!

Positive: This place is pure magic. The accommodation itself is quite basic. But the host family is friendly, and the location is the best we've seen in Raja Ampat: it's in a fairly remote bay, with no other homestays or hotels around. The house reef is also fantastic: giant clams, reef sharks, cuttlefish, turtles, mantis shrimps, crabs, lobsters, starfish, octopus, ribbon eels, sea snakes, porcupine fish, stingrays, dolphins... and lots of healthy coral. When it gets dark, and no light sources, the stars and the Milky Way become clearly visible, and luminescent plankton are glowing in the water, it is incredibly magical. The host can take people to see the red bird-of-paradise which is a short trip I highly recommend. We also took a trip to Piaynemo but we found the snorkeling stop at Citrus Ridge the most beautiful. Korbekwan must be one of the most special places I've ever stayed at.
