Positive: Very much enjoyed Kolin Hotel. we had the spacious Jacuzzi suite with the great view of the Bosphorous. Very spacious room and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Did not get to try the restaurants for lunch or dinner The facilities are excellent, pools, spas, steam, rooms massages and a very good gym and fitness centers.

Negative: Only drawback is the hotel is about 10 minutes drive from downtown where the Ferries arrive and tourists hangout and which have lots of restaurants and which is a lovely area to explore. Too far to walk but the taxis are relatively cheap. The good thing about the location is that it is walking distance to local shops for a few snacks. very lovely local people to meet and speak with

Positive: The buffet breakfast was OK. Not having espresso coffee was disappointing considering the cost of the accommodation.

Negative: Bathroom accessories soaps, earbuds were very limited and not replaced each day. Reception staff did not bother to offer assistance with the luggage when checking in or even out. Very impersonal across all the ammenities, bar staff were too busy to give prompt attn, additional staff would help.The overall venue was more of a general facility and not a dedicated 5 star hotel. Otherwise the facility was satisfactory.

Negative: The breakfast. Unfortunately, there is no proper coffee , cappuccino machine. Just a boiler. It’s disappointing that there is no chef on site. The tea was not brewed. No fresh orange juice. The setup could be better for such a level of hotel. However, the personnel at the reception and housekeeping were very guest friendly.
