Positive: The hosts were magnificent and the property far exceeded what I was expecting. Big room. Big bed. Beautiful bathroom with walk in shower and Big bath. Lots of tea, coffee and drinks included.

Positive: Jo and Jeremy gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home, without stepping on our toes in terms of check in. Wonderful balance of a pleasant chat / welcome and quick check in. We were invited to use the common areas and offered seemingly small comforts that nonetheless make the stay - use of their drying room if needed, being able to leave dishes on a tray in the kitchen instead of trying to wash up in the bathroom etc. The room was superb - spacious, with windows on both sides and main view overlooking a quaint meadow with grazing sheep. The small en suite kitchenette had cutlery, glasses, bowls, plates, cups and was fully stocked with fruit, yoghurts, granolas, biscuits, teas, coffee, beer, wine and many other goodies. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a shower, a bath and a towel radiator! It was quiet at night and in the morning birds and nearby sheep worked as a lovely natural alarm clock. Everything seemed very well kept - I'd even say brand new. The lake was just a couple minutes away distance wise, but if you wanted public access to the shore, you'd have to drive for a few minutes up or down along the shoreline. Decent amount of options for pub food in a couple nearby towns too. Overall we had a lovely time and hope to be back soon!

Positive: Lovely rooms best we have seen in lakes,location near lake ideal for walking breakfast, good selection fruit yoghurt cereal ,fridge full with everything you need for a weekend break.
