Positive: Beautiful place, very kind hosts, very well equipped little lodge. We felt very at home. They decorated the lodge for Christmas and we even had a little tree!

Positive: We had a great stay at Hunter's Lodge - very cosy and comfortable, beautifully cared for and with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Little touches like the cream tea on arrival were hugely appreciated and very welcome after a long drive. Host very welcoming and kind, checking we were warm enough and happy to adjust the heating to come on earlier for our early rising children - thank you for a wonderful stay and I hope we can return again. Highly recommended!

Positive: Wonderful isolated location which is gorgeous, but is a distance from grocery stores. Facilities were well cared for and owners were very friendly and helpful.

Negative: There wasn't really anything I didn't like, however the shower was a bit finicky and I would of preferred a better shower experience.

Positive: It was beautiful, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great peaceful location, just perfect!

Negative: It could have been slightly warmer, but I happy with a blanket. There was a toddler running around upstairs which was a bit annoying, but to be expected when you’re on the ground floor.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful. We will be back!

Positive: This was a lovely property in beautiful surroundings. The hosts were fantastic with a lovely greeting upon arrival and a complementary cream tea basket. The apartment was large and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Importantly the sofa was roomy and comfy as was the double bed. The bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean and fresh. All in all we had a very relaxing few weeks in this apartment. It is not local to shops but the next village is only a ten minute drive away and is a real cosy Devon town.

Negative: Nothing really, it was all good.

Summary: Relaxing comfort away from it all.
