Negative: I would have liked a small desk to work on in the room - there was room to work in the “living room”.

Positive: The property is lovely and very welcoming, we got a nice introduction to the history of the building and the area from the owner upon arrival. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and also very quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious and featured local products. The owners also have a truly lovely dog!

Positive: Comfortable room with safe walking and lovely restaurant 20 min walk away. 10min walk to fabulous outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of safe parking.
Negative: Confusion with booking on arrival : owner stated he wasn’t expecting our dog, but I had evidence of messages with them regarding this to the point we paid for an upgraded room to accommodate the dog. Believed we had paid for breakfast and agreed 0800hrs would be ideal. Turning up at 0800hrs we were then told we had not paid for breakfast, but we could still have it if we paid extra. We elected not to. Booking.com were blamed, but I am not so sure….
