Summary: The property is old and needs a lot of repairs. The room was tiny— barely enough room for two people to move around. The tv did not work, nor did the electrical outlets on the desk. The beds were small and hard. There was never anyone at the reception desk except once. I wish we had chosen another hotel for our two-night stay in Kirkenes. I would not recommend this property.

Summary: No one thrre for check-in during check-in hours. When he did arrive he said to hurry up. He had to leave. No heat control in room. Not able to turn on the shower. Handle was stuck. Reluctant to help us call a taxi.

Summary: Good: location, clean, comfortanle beds. Bad: we couldnt believe we came to the Arctic and it was hotter than Italy. Window was open, but the room was very hot.

Summary: Quite basic but much cheaper than other hotels in Kirkenes, so this was the reason for us booking this hotel. It is actually fine, close to the town centre and convenient for a nights stay before catching the ferry or going to the airport. We had an easy walk to the cruise ferry terminal. Free coffee is a nucellus bonus and our room was fine for our short stay.

Summary: The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and warm. There was no staff there during our stay and when they did show up, they were very unfriendly. Lots of people queued up to try and leave bags and check in. Since there are limited planes that arrive, you'd think they would be there knowing that there would be people wanting to drop their bags - especially when the footpaths are covered in ice. Breakfast situation was odd - we didn't try it after seeing it was a tray left in the kitchen (a converted motel room and pretty bleak). Forget asking for information about the town as there was no one there to ask. Common areas were a bit dirty. It was cheaper than other places in town but might be worth paying a little extra.
