Positive: Small so not loads of guests, therefore feels personal and cozy. Also does a lovely breakfast. Nice view onto waterfront from sea facing rooms.

Negative: Noise from loose manhole on road outside from early morning. No privacy window screening/tint/curtain in bathroom, (Rm 5)- It is facing a wall, but there are 2 privacy windows on building opposite that presumably could be opened at some stage!

Summary: Very pleasant stay and would certainly consider again, as good value for money.

Positive: The King's House is a lovely place to stay right on the beautiful promenade looking out onto the sea. Really enjoyed walking out to incredible views in the morning. The staff were very friendly and we had some fun conversations and got some great advice for our visit. Parking was a little bit of a concern initially as only street parking was available. But it is free and available, each evening (in April). Breakfast was fantastic too.

Negative: Mattress was a bit too soft for personal liking.

Positive: Wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Room was spotless, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good quality ingredients and plenty of choice. Planning a return visit already!

Negative: Nothing to do with the hotel - Parking is bay parking on the prom outside, it can be a bit hit and miss. Managed to get a space on this visit but can imagine it's a bit trickier in the summer months.

Positive: Very accommodating, lovely family made us feel welcome loved the extra little touches and bads made , fresh water and tea and coffee each day if required, location is excellent too Room lovely amd clean and decorated for my birthday with banners and balloons at the request of my daughter very surprised and happy on arrival
