Positive: It's very new, the hotel has a great decor (calming and warm) and very near the tooth relic temple and royal palace. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind.

Negative: There were occasional monkeys on the roof making noises, but this isnt the fault of the hotel.

Summary: Charming little hotel walking distance to the main sites of Kandy.

Positive: The site is within easy walk of the city and Tooth Temple. The owners are enthusiastic and do a nice breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and large.

Negative: Had to ask for the room to be made up each day. Not automatic. No view of the lake. The showers need some sort of curtain as the water sprays everywhere. No EFT payment facilities but they are only just setting up.

Positive: Our 2 days stay at King’s Palace Kandy was nothing short of remarkable, and the breakfast experience was truly the highlight. Each morning, we had such an amazing and beautifully prepared spread featuring fresh tropical fruits, warm bread, traditional Sri Lankan dishes, and perfectly brewed tea and coffee. What made it unforgettable was the care and attention from Deepika and Nishanthi, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine smiles turned breakfast into a cherished memory. The location was great too. Deepika and Nishanthi deserve all the special recognition. Their dedication and kindness created a welcoming atmosphere, and we ended up having long chats after breakfast :). Well done girls. You deserve the Best!!!

Positive: BF Not as expected. Supposed to be a western, but had only tea and toast with an omelette. A small plate of cut fruits. Staff is very friendly and the place is quiet. Car park was OK for one vehicle, only mine.

Negative: Because it's only B&B at the moment, could have improved the Breakfast. Had to pay cash as there was no card machine. Potential for improvement as it is a very convenient location in Kandy to visit the city.
