Positive: Our host Jason is super nice, very attentive if we needed anything. The King size bed was super comfy. Good A/C. It's a cozy, rustic, no frillls place to stay. Very clean. They have a nice apt size Fridge and stove that cooks very well. The balcony in the back is private and nice to hang out for the evening. This apt. Is on a one way street so we were able to find parking on either side of the street . There are a lot of historical sites to see just walking distance and good restaurants.

Negative: Kitchen is in need of a new larger frying pan cooking pot and a chopping board.

Positive: In the center of town with street parking available, comfy bed, full kitchen, good refrigerator in the bedroom, hot water, clean sheets and towels. Soap and dishwasher soap available.

Negative: There is a restaurant/bar accross the street with loud music and kareoke until later than the municipality allows... I could not get a good night sleep.

Summary: Ok if you like to party, not so great for a good night sleep because of noises and loud music from a bar.

Positive: Location was excellent. Several blocks walking distance to the Ponce town plaza and mercado. Neighborhood felt safe. Note that parking is on the street. We had no issues finding parking at night after the town shuts down, which is early.,... around 7:00. Jason was very helpful and responsive. Unit is on the second floor. Nice large private deck but the view is to the back of the building, nothing to look at. The deck in the photo is the front of the building and someone else's unit.

Negative: Many of the jalousie windows did not operate so cross ventilation in the bedrooms and kitchen were limited. The kitchen has solid metal jalousies (did not operate, no ventilation and was dark in the kitchen) that absorbed and radiated heat into the kitchen. Kitchen was warm and stuffy during the day. Only AC in the unit is in the bedroom. Bedroom also had a ceiling fan, but the same switch operated the light, so the fan could not be left on at night. No separate sink for the bathroom, only the kitchen sink. Odd that the full size refrigerator is in the bedroom, but it was ok for us. Recommend the Owner post more photos of the unit to give guests a better idea of the spaces.

Positive: The bed is very comfortable. The porch is a delightful spot to hang out. The place is walking distance from the main attractions. The owner was lovely and helpful!

Negative: It’s noisy. There was a dog next door that kept barking, and at all hours of the day and night there were loud sounds from outside.

Positive: This apartment is in an ideal location, just a block or so off the main plaza (but yet quiet). Host was very responsive and helpful. The bed is very comfortable.

Negative: The apartment is totally functional though could use some additional sprucing up, perhaps with a feminine eye (it's a bit baren). There is a TV in the bedroom, which a previous reviewer noted there had not been when they stayed, which tells me the host is making upgrades. Little things like a bedside table and an extension cord to charge devices bedside, a piece of art or two, an ice cube tray (these are rare in Puerto Rico guesthouses, which is odd to me because it's very hot there), some coffee, etc. would go a long way. It met my needs on my bicycle trip around the island, and Ponce is a cool city (highly recommend checking out the Via Arte street murals).

Positive: Great location. Very friendly and responsive host. The apartment overall is spacious and very clean.

Negative: Bathroom is small but it's not the end of the world. The full kitchen is nice but it could use some accessories like pots, pans and silverware.
