Positive: The bedroom was clean and comfortable.

Negative: No heater inside the room and we had to go downstairs to make drinks and the pantry was not well prepared. Additionally, the wi-fi connection also was very poor as we stay at L4. We were dissatisfied with the activities package offers and cancelled our trip last minute and said it was fully booked, however the staff are friendly and helpful 😃.

Positive: Great location, very close to a nice public beach. Very friendly staff. The island is small, so everything is easily reachable. This hotel doesn’t serve meals—you have to walk a few minutes to their Kinan Retreat hotel for food. Beds are very comfortable, not too soft. Air conditioning works perfectly. Wi-Fi is poor in the rooms. Only two coffee capsules were provided for a 4-day stay, and there was no kettle in the room. Cleaning and fresh towels were provided every day. No lift to higher floors. Even though a few things weren’t perfect, I still highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: Location is very good while for breakfast we have to take a 3/4 min walk. Breakfast item was ok not to be very satisfied.

Negative: Staff attention needs to be increased particularly as this is a new set up of Kinan but operated from the old setup from a different location.

Positive: First of all, staff was great. We were in Kinan Boutique and the 2 young guys who were cleaning and helping with luggage were friendly and super helpful. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds coming with a huge bathroom. Location was also convenient, close by the bikini beach.

Negative: Poor breakfast, we skipped after first day even though it was paid we opted for other restaurants for food. Also you need to walk to the Kinan Retreat hotel (3/4 minutes) to get your breakfast. I think they are working on building a kitchen / restaurant near Kinan Boutique. Beach chairs were not comfortable… and hard to handle. Sound… mosque can be heard from most of the hotels I would guess as the island is small.

Summary: Good option for short or longer stay in Fulidhoo Island

Positive: The hotel is beachfront with direct access to the beach (however more windy side) but still nice view, and you can relax there as hotel has their own sunbeds. Its also close to the main bikini beach, which is very pretty - but basically everything is very close as the island is very small. The A/C in the room was comfortable incorporated in the room and manageable. Room and hotel design seems to be new which was nice, and bed was also comfortable. Room had small fridge where we could cool our water which was convenient as usually you get only minibar.

Negative: Firstly we were given room, where mold was present in warderobe, ceiling and curtains. Doors to the balcony couldn't close properly, and there was no seatings/chair present neither space for them on the balcony as pictures shown. We were told they assign rooms on first come first serve basis, that's why we got this room . After few hours the lady manager/receptionist managed to get us different room where mold wasn't present, and door to the balcony could close (however no seating option on the balcony as we stayed on the same floor). Also the bath was not present, which is in room description. The reception service is basically not present and if they are, they don't speak english very well, so they gave us number on the lady manager above, and we have contacted her via whatsapp if we wanted to deal with something or needed some help. The services were really lacking as if we wanted to do some trip we had to ask around the island or in the second Kinan hotel, to have an overview but nothing was presented to us in our hotel. The breakfast are not directly in the hotel, but you have to walk for a few minutes to get to their other hotel, where they serve them up front. The breakfast was pretty basic with lots of flies given the breakfast was outside. In the room, there is not place to dry your stuff/bathing suits from the beach which was inconvenient. The cleaning of room is upon request, we didnt get fresh towels everyday (as we did in other hotel in maldives). The WiFi is really poor always lagging and disconnecting. We did like better the second room we were offered. Also the lady manager arranged speed boat transfer from and to hotel, and also managed to prolong our stay by one night.

Positive: Can feel it's a new building. strategic location just infront of the beach but anyway you can walk the whole island in 15-20mins. staff here also very friendly and helpful on our transfer to maafushi.

Negative: The lobby is separated with the hotel. The lobby is nearby the ferry port basically easier for us to find the hotel lobby and check in. But hotel you have to walk inside another street like 5mins walk to the hotel. also their breakfast you have to walk from hotel to lobby to enjoy their food

Positive: The location is perfect next to beautiful beaches. The staff is amazing and is always ready to help you and make your stay comfortable. The hotel is new and the rooms are spacious enough with a nice bathroom. Honestly I think that Fulidhoo is one of the best island in the Maldives. Big thanks to Faissal and his team for the pleasant stay.
