Positive: We stayed in the Bungalow with Sea View at Kimulimuli Green Heaven, and everything was absolutely perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the true highlight was the incredible outdoor bathroom built around a baobab tree. Being surrounded by nature while showering was unforgettable – genuinely the most beautiful bathroom I’ve ever seen. The entire hotel is new, and you can feel how much heart and love Antonia and Hamisi have poured into it. Breakfast was delicious and served with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Antonia and Hamisi were also amazing in helping us organize activities on the island, such as whale shark excursions and scuba diving. Whenever we needed anything, they were there for us. The beach is only a 1-2 minute walk away and looks like pure paradise.

Summary: Can’t wait to come back.

Positive: We had a truly wonderful stay at Kimulimuli Green Heaven. The Mawimbi bungalow is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with great attention to detail. The outdoor bathroom is absolutely magical, immersed in nature. We slept peacefully every night, lulled by the sound of the waves from the beach just below. The welcome from Antonia and Hamisi was exceptional : warm, attentive, and always available. And a special mention to Warda, who prepares breakfast: she is an amazing cook, always smiling and full of good energy. We highly recommend this place and would love to return asap :)

Positive: We had a wonderful stay with Antonia and Hamisi. The bungalow was so peaceful. It's tucked away in the forest, but close enough to town for an easy walk or quick boda ride. We loved the private outdoor shower beneath the big tree. We even saw a bush baby while eating dinner on the terrace. There’s a quiet, sandy beach among the mangroves just below the bungalow and they have stand up paddle boards which we took out to watch sunset from the water. Breakfast was great, with some of the best coffee we’ve had in Tanzania and Antonia had baked us fresh bread in the morning. We booked for one night and stayed for three but wish we’d had more time before our flight!
