Recently remodeled and tastefully decorated lower level duplex located a short distance from Killington ski area (a ten minute drive to the Killington Access Road). This very comfortable home is located on the VAST (VT Association of Snow Travellers)snowmobile trails and allows you access to trails from the driveway.
This comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath unit boasts a fully equipped new kitchen with granite center island, stainless steel appliances and all the pots/pans and utensils needed to cook a gourmet meal. We stock the home with paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, kitchen garbage bags, plasitc wrap and foil, ziplock bags, hand soap, sheets , blankets, pillows as well as spices and some condiments , unit is fully stocked (Makes a big difference when packing your car and saves you quite a bit of money if you have to purchase at arrival). If you chose, night life and restaurants are only a half mile away and the Access Road is only a twelve minute ride.
The wood burning stove adds all the ambiance of a Vermont ski vacation. An ample supply of wood is provided. All on a private 2 acre lot with plenty of parking. The mud room allows for storing your skis and equipment indoors keeping them warm and safe.

Summary: This was a great location if headed to Killington. I did not realize we were staying on the bottom of the house (my error in missing that in description). If you have guests above that are quiet, its not a problem, however we had a bunch of loud late night stompers above which kept us awake. The mud room was nice to store equipment, however with no heat we had to end up bringing boots/jackets etc into the main house to keep them warm. We had a ton of snow, and someone removed it several times a day which was great. Dean was also a very responsive host.

Summary: Super quiet and peaceful location. Great kitchen and living room space that’s super cozy. There’s two units, an upstairs and a downstairs unit. We were downstairs but had no issues with noise from upstairs guests.

Summary: Picked it for proximity to Killington and Sugarbush, size and hit tub access. All worked out very well. And Dean was very helpful including amazing overnight snow removal. Would certainly come back.

Summary: We would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking to stay near Killington Ski resort. We loved the property itself, location, everything about it! The host was very responsive and the unit was very clean. The only thing I would add is that the driveway is very steep so we needed to use 4WD to be able to get up to the house with the ice! Thank you for a great stay!
