Summary: Lovely hotel. Second stay here on trip to Ireland with friends. Clean, well appointed rooms with very comfortable beds and pillow. Tea and coffee in the room. If staying in a lodge, there is a small fridge and microwave in the common area room. This time we stayed in a lodge versus a cottage. Both were great, but if you can get one of 2 cottages - Do it! Food at the restaurant was good, we had breakfast daily. Staff were great.Grounds were wonderful. Would stay here again. Make sure you have a UK power adapter as the standard European one won't work. There is an electronics store across the street from the Trim Castle where you can buy one for about 15 euros.

Summary: Lovely, lovely place. Accommodations were immaculate, beds comfortable, heated floors in the cottage lodging was a welcomed surprise. Very quiet, beautiful place off the beaten path. You would need a car to get here or would have to hire a car/taxi. No shopping nearby, but there is an amazing castle and golf greens everywhere. Would stay here again.
