Summary: This hotel ticks all the boxes, beautiful setting, lots to explore both inside and out! Stayed in the brand new Boyne view suites! Luxury personified. Five star accommodation with your own outdoor space. Relaxing in your personal hot tub overlooking the forest maybe gives it an extra star!

Summary: Always good. Great staff. Amazing grounds. West Wing our preferred area from decor of rooms and being carpeted. All the other areas are wooden floors.. Not overly important. Just a preference.

Summary: This is a lovely historic property with amazing grounds, a wonderful breakfast, accommodating staff, and lovely amenities like the spa and bathrobes in the rooms. Be careful when booking you room, however, that you get what you want... I did not realize until I got there that I would not be getting a room in the main building or the brick ones attached to it, but instead a room in the stables. These should be ok in theory. But for some reason, I was plagued by flies all night. I don't know how they were getting into the room.

Summary: I had a lovely 5-day stay. The food was good except for the burger. The room was quiet and comfortable with an excellent shower. I had a full massage which was very nice.

Summary: We will be back! Staff were 10/10, really made our trip special - It’s the small details with this place. You can tell the staff are happy working here :) Although the spa is relatively small (at the moment), it was perfect and not too crowded. We had the sauna and steam room to ourselves during our stay, and the jacuzzi for the morning sunrise all to ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing too.

Summary: It is a no brainer to stay at this gorgeous Hotel in the country. We stayed in the Ruins building off to the side of the main building, large room, very comfy, with stunning grounds. The dinner and breakfast were awesome and staff exceptional. It was like staying in Downton Abbey, not that we have, but it felt like it!
