Summary: From the moment we arrived til the time we left all staff we met made a big positive impact with our stay. Check in, bar, dining and service staff were great. As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.

Summary: Enjoyed a 2 night break in a double room. Hotel is being refurbished, our room was completed, very comfy and great size for 2 people. Good choice of food for breakfast. Staff are all excellent.

Summary: The staff were very helpful. The food was excellent. The shower was lovely. The room itself was v dark, outdated decor, dark patterned carpet. There was no aircon but a fan was provided. There was a lot of noise throughout the night from maybe an outside vent? Kildare is a lovely town and of course, right beside Kildare Village. It was a comfortable bed, but hard to sleep due to the noise.maybe would stay again, but in a different room.

Summary: I wanted a base for a weekend of touring in Ireland. Dublin is ridiculously expensive. Kildare is well located, especially for the railway, which is walking distance or just five minutes by car from the hotel. Restaurant was good - they had meals with vegetables and added additional vegetables at my request for no charge. My booking included breakfast, they were happy to cook me a bespoke breakfast, as the full Irish breakfast was ridiculously large.

Summary: Very bad service during dinner, we ordered a sharing menu and we tried to order desserts many times, but got told to wait. When they finally came to us we got told the kitchen was now closed and we could not order desserts. Ordered drinks that also took a really long time. Big minus
