Summary: Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Well-placed by the sea in Shela town where everything is close anyway. Good vibes, good service and a fine restaurant. My reccommendations.

Summary: This was a cool relaxed place. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were good and there was evn gluten free banana pancakes 🙂. The staff were great and helped organise trips. The pool was as refreshing in the midday heat. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Nothing to dislike about this hotel, we had an amazing stay and would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves back in Lamu.

Summary: It was amazing :) The staff was very nice and made the stay super cool. Room was clean, tidy and veery beautiful with a view of the ocean. I enjoyed the breakfast alot.

Summary: It was a great location with very friendly staff. The shower , wifi and ac were poor . There was no fridge in the room and the place closed down at 9:30 pm . It was overpriced for the service . Breakfast was great

Summary: Lovely, helpful staff and a great location, right by the water where you look down on everyday life, dhows, donkeys and all. Quiet garden with pool and sunloungers. Excellent rooftop restaurant. 30 minute walk to Lamu or short boatride. Large, traditional rooms so don't expect TVs.

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about Kijani and its amazing staff. Tito and his team were all very welcoming, warm and personable, and always went above and beyond for their guests. The place in itself is beautiful, airy and peaceful, beautifully designed and centrally located. The food was amazing and everything was so fresh. It's been over 30 years since I've been back in Kenya and our stay in Kijani was the perfect homecoming. I look forward to returning to Lamu and know that Kijani will be the place we'll set up base at. I'd say it felt like a home away from home, but it was better than that. Thank you so much to everyone there, you all are the very best.
