Positive: I stayed at Kihachikan with my family for a weekend ski trip and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautifully designed and decorated with a mix of Japanese and western style that is both elegant and cozy. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location couldn't be better, as it's just a short walk to the gondola and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. One of the highlights was the warm and friendly welcome from the host. Throughout our stay, our host Robin was always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations in the area. I definitely want to come back again next time we visit Nozawaonsen and would highly recommend Kihachikan to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay when visiting the area.
