Positive: We had a wonderful time ! Breakfast was super, italian and Chinese . Especially the burata was a surprise . Very helpful friendly staff . Nice large suite and clean bathroom .

Positive: Kevin's Old House was a lovely little hotel with genuine character. Unfortunately, it was too early in our trip to take advantage of the Italian restaurant that was attached to the hotel, but it looked great, and the breakfast was an unexpected, but delicious mix of Italian and Asian. The location is a quiet alley off a busy street. There was a little background noise, but peaceful considering it's busy Shanghai location. The staff could not have been more helpful

Positive: Exceptionally spaceous! Big bedroom w/ big living room and washroom. Very friendly staff. Excellent western breakfast with cheese smoke salmon eggs and bread. Cappuccino is the best among all the brewery in Shanghai. Must try the restaurant on the G floor ( Bella Naples)belongs to the same owner

Negative: Curtain could be thicker and darker. ( common inconvenience in most lodging) Wifi could be enhanced. ( insufficient after 8:00pm to midnight) TV set is not responding. ( do not affect us too much)

Summary: Staff is v pleasant. Comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy the food here very much!

Positive: Love this place. The staff are amazing. The location is perfect on Changle Road - perfect if you're interested in boutique shopping and high quality cocktails. The interior has a solid old-school vibe. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a dynamic stay in Shanghai. Also, great coffee just around the corner at Fineline Coffee.

Negative: If you're noise sensitive, it's not the quietest place. It's located above a fairly busy restaurant. You should stay here if you're keen to feel a part of a dynamic life in this fantastic city.

Positive: Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made the stay very enjoyable. They even let us use another room for an early check in until ours was available. They had a highchair for our son and let us store our pram downstairs

Negative: Breakfast was generous in size but I found smoked salmon with green salad and a very sweet croissant a slightly odd combination. I would have preferred a more local style breakfast but that’s just personal preference.

Positive: The location is very central French concession. The property is bigger then expected, very comfortable bed. The breakfast also was lovely, just what you need to start a day: croissant, salmon, ham, eggs, coffee. The staff was friendly and provided everything we needed.

Negative: The decoration could be improved by choosing modern forniture or go for a more antique style.

Summary: Kevin’s old house was exactly what we needed for our stay.
