Positive: Transportation from the port to the hotel is provided, something that is greatly valued if you're traveling to Zamami Island. Also, the hotel provides the option to rent scooters and bicycles if you want to explore the island by yourself.

Negative: The breakfast did not have any fruit options available, everything is very local (which is great, but would appreciate something more suitable for international guests as well).

Positive: Position is perfect, food is excellent

Negative: The hotel is a bit dated, maybe from the 60s. For us it was a really original experience, but some things, like air conditioning, would deserve a renewal

Positive: The bed was comfortable, European style, with a soft mattress and cotton bed sheets. My room was big, with enough space around the beds (it was a twin) to still move around and have a coffee table and 2 chairs. I liked that it had a balcony facing the sea, however, there was no furniture on the balcony. Most of the staff was friendly. They allowed me to check in at 11.30am, which I really appreciate. Beach towels are provided for free, and so are washing machines, always useful.

Negative: I booked quite last minute so this was actually my only option. As others have mentioned, this is not a resort, just a hotel. There are no facilities or services normally found at a resort. Also previously mentioned, the shuttle to go to the harbour stops at 5.30pm so if you want to have dinner or drinks in the evening, you must be prepared to walk 2km, or hire bicycles/scooters. There is a pavement most of the way, but indeed, there are no street lights. Breakfast is basic and repetitive, again not at the level you expect from a resort. I've had better at guesthouses. I did not try dinner at the hotel. Overall, I slept well and I wasn't too bothered by the location as I'm happy to walk, but I think it is overpriced.

Positive: Everything, I will definitely be coming back. The staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful. The staff made me feel very comfortable and were so welcoming. The view from the property was incredible. I truly felt at peace there. Thank you so much for your amazing service and hospitality ❤️

Positive: Quiet location. Not far from town. Close to great beaches. Great staff - very nice and helpful. Snorkeling trip with Nari as guide was great. They let us rent snorkeling gear and wetsuits for separate trips on our own. We rented a car for three days and went all over the island.

Negative: Food was okay, but not very inspired. Better food in town. Would not take much for KBR to upgrade.

Summary: Loved Zamami and staff at KBR made it a great trip for us. We will be back again.

Negative: Minimum service across the board. Cleaning rooms every 4 days (pretending to be eco-friendly). Sparsely attended reception. Very infrequent shuttle service with schedules changing and guests not informed of the changes. Breakfast can be taken at 8am or 8:30 and the breakfast plate arrives cold… staff doesn’t greet you with a help or how are you but rather ask for room number. For the price, one can expect more.
