Positive: The location was amazing although there was a significant distance from parking to the door of the property.

Negative: Dirty cups in cupboard.bathroom and kitchen need a spring clean.

Positive: Good price for a two bedroom two bathroom .Pub on the corner did good food .2 king size beds which were comfy.Fast wifi .

Negative: As per other reviews it could be cleaner and it could do with a new coat of paint .But as stated it was a good price ,I would stay again .

Positive: Great location, lovely walks right from the door - St Boswells is on St Cuthbert's Way so you can do either direction and both are well worth the walk. Very comfy beds, very pleasant sitting room with plenty of room for the four of us. Plus lovely powerful shower. Pub, close by on the corner, serving good food, and very friendly staff. Owner was very helpful when we got there as we couldn't find the cottage, she directed us around and to the door - a bit of a walk with all of our things.

Negative: We needed to clean the bannister and other surfaces as they were dirty and sticky. Very little cupboard space to put our food in, so it was all left on the bench. None of this spoiled our stay, though.

Positive: Stunning location, great communication, lovely house with all we could need, beautiful building and lovely interior.

Negative: Beds a little firm and wish garden was more enclosed and that you could park closer to entrance of property.

Positive: Great location, very comfortable, clean, gave us a lovely respite from a 4 week road trip. Would definitely recommend. The host was very accommodating in all matters and was able to assist by giving us a slightly later departure time on our final day before we needed to board our flight in Edinburgh late in the afternoon. Terrific communication by host. Noticed a previous review about low roof in bathroom upstairs, this is no issue as there is a fully equipped bathroom downstairs also.

Positive: The location was perfect and suited our needs in terms of travelling around. The beautiful view from the lounge overlooking the horses in the field.

Negative: The property was ‘tired’ in need of some tlc, paint work, doors, kitchen cupboards, utensils etc.. maybe a welcome pack or something, there’s nothing like a homemade cake or scone on arrival after a long journey!
