Positive: The location was convenient, though its proximity to Hastings East Street placed it near a somewhat rougher part of the city. The hotel offered a nice upgrade to my stay to 1 bed room apartment, the suit was very nice. The bed is very comfortable. We also like the Rooftop view.

Negative: It could feel a bit unsettling for solo travelers at night, but overall it was fine, especially since the hotel isn’t directly on Hastings Street. There was also a security guard present at times, which added a sense of safety. The hotel itself is very new, though it does have a slight “new hotel” smell.

Summary: Nice new apartment hotel, good price for the location.

Positive: It is close to everything. The amenities are exceptional, and it is a feet of engineering to include all of them in such a limited amount of space.

Negative: In order to walk nearby restaurants, it is frequently necessary to walk through some uncomfortable areas. Also, despite the unit having everything I needed I just require more space. I recognized that Vancouver does not lend itself well to that however they couldn’t have done a better job with the amount of space. Parking however, is also expensive and requires fifth floor.

Summary: Well managed property and efficient team.
