Positive: Our stay at Susie and Lester's apartment was a truly wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly and kind, making us feel right at home. They even went the extra mile, lending us flashlights for exploring the lava tubes and a wagon for the very long hike to Green Sand Beach. The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the lovely backyard gardens and the swimming pool. Its location was fabulous, providing easy access to both Hilo and Volcano National Park. We loved the nightly serenade from the coqui frogs! We would highly recommend this place to any traveller looking for a relaxing and convenient stay.

Positive: The unit was roomy and well laid out. Everything we needed was there. The host was onsite, Lester, and was very accommodating. The grounds/garden was beautiful and relaxing. There are tomato, lemon and avocado plants I had several tomatoes.

Positive: This place was wonderfull. The appartment is fully equipped and we felt very comfortable. We loved having breakfast on the patio and listen to the nature in the evenings 🙂 The owners are very welcoming and nice. It is a great place for trips to Volcano National park. We would definitelly stay here again

Positive: Lovely property and huge garden! Enjoyed spending time on their patio very much. The hosts were incredibly friendly and it was a treat to get to know them and taste the fruits from their garden. Grocery store just 10 minutes away so very convenient.

Negative: The place was genuinely very clean but the cockroaches found a way in. The hosts were really good about it though, got us a spray, a compensatory voucher and I’m sure once we were out they probably fumigated the entire place.
