Positive: This was basic accommodation on our way to Grand Canyon. Room were spacious with a coffee maker as only "extras" in the room.

Negative: The windows could not be opened and the air conditioner was very noisy. Cleaning agents with scents were used. There was no breakfast. There was no coffee in the lobby. The place looked empty. Although there was a large restaurant within the hotel with very friendly staff, we were the only guests. Portions were generous and gratuity was included in the bill.

Summary: Basic accommodation on the way to Grand Canyon.

Positive: The staff was VERY accommodating. We booked a suite on the bottom floor but were told there were none available when we checked in. They worked to get a room recently vacated cleaned up so that we could have the bottom floor. We really appreciated that.

Negative: Absolutely appalling reception staff. Didn't give us a room with wifi despite advertising that it would have wifi. We had to find something to do for 2 hours while they found a room for us. The restaurant was closed and so we had to go to a burger bar for dinner. I asked details about monument valley as it is a good few miles away and was told 'don't know been years since I went'.

Summary: Never received such awful attitude issues from reception staff. Clearly didn't want to assist!

Positive: We got in late and really enjoyed the restaurant—it was a great surprise after a long drive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was convenient, just about 20 minutes from the monuments. The only downside is that there’s no elevator, only stairs to access the second floor. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but something to keep in mind if stairs are a concern. The pool was empty when we went.
