NO VISITORS POLICY:
The property is exclusively for your enjoyment and ONLY for you and the number of guests booked. Privacy is important. If you plan to have an occasional daytime visitor, discuss this with us before booking. This is not a "hangout" place.

Summary: Virtually everything we needed was available. Beds are extremely comfortable, spacious, well-stocked kitchen, everything was clean and extremely well maintained. The location made it easy to get to our destinations. The wrap around porch was a favorite hangout with plenty of seating and a beautiful back yard view. Clear and concise communication with owners set our expectations and it did not disappoint

Summary: We are a group of 8 women who travel to a different destination every year. This year we chose Charleston. Our first thought was to stay in downtown but the accommodations were too small or too expensive for our group. So, we started looking a bit out of town. We feel we made the perfect chose! We were close to town, but also enjoyed the feel of the low-country with all the quiet and beautiful waterways. We've stayed at dozens of places over the years and several in the group said this was their favorite and that it was better than the photos. There was enough space for us to spread out. Beds were all super comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast in the morning before going touring. The dining table was ample for our 1 dinner in and a lively card game. We enjoyed the living room and the smaller sitting area off the kitchen where we had a puzzle going throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the outside of the home. The beautiful porch was very inviting and the stroll down the dock, lovely. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the morning. We toured 2 plantations. Ft Sumter, went sailing in the harbor, a walking food tour, and an evening on Sullivan's Island. It was a wonderful trip and the house was the best part! 5-star experience all the way!

Summary: We chose this location due to the access to the river and its proximity to all fun things to do around. It did not disappoint! We loved everything about the house and property. Theres great crabbing off the dock! Locals also say when tide is coming in and going out is the best time fo fish that area. George was super helpful with check in and and with any questions and issues we had!

Summary: Our eight-night stay truly seemed like a vacation for our family. The multiple gathering and eating areas inside and out allowed us to beat the heat, run on the grass, BBQ, sit in porch rocking chairs, wander out to the dock, and sit and watch the marsh and its occasional cargo ships heading in and out of the Wanda terminal. And it was 10 minutes to Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant and about 10-15 minutes to downtown Charleston. The home is beautiful, well equipped, had comfortable beds, and the kitchen had whatever you would need. Thanks, Laurie and George for a wonderful stay!

Summary: The views are spectacular, the house is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. The location was perfect, easy access to restaurants, downtown Charleston and entertainment. The adult kids enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. Very relaxing!

Summary: The property is stunning. A beautiful view through the moss covered oaks out over the marsh and creek to the Wando River. We saw dolphin in the river from the porch and deer in the backyard. The house is spacious and perfect for a family gathering like ours. The kitchen was beyond well-stocked with everything you might want to serve meals at the beautiful dining table. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to relax over a cup of coffee in the mornings. As with all Charleston area properties, parking is somewhat limited for a place that accommodates so many people, but you can easily park 3 vehicles. The house is beautifully decorated with nice art.
