Katy's Farm offers a unique opportunity to stay on a working farm. Brand new cabin with full bath and views of Vieias Mountain and Cuyamaca Peak. We are about 30
minutes from the beach and 45 minutes from Julian's famous apple pie. We have horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. We have our very own professional chef and can offer add-on meals, if the calendar aligns. The stargazing and birdwatching is amazing. Come for a visit!

Summary: We wanted to do a little unique overnight stay someplace not too far from home, and boy we had a great time here!! Katy’s gram was fabulous. They were so friendly showed us around her farm and our 9yo had the best time made buddies with the donkeys.. Definitely recommend!

Summary: We had a great stay at Katy's farm! We arrived on Saturday and spent the night, with Katy showing us the property and animals on Sunday morning. The cabin was really nice and clean, and despite it being the coldest day of the season (so far), the space heater and blankets were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. We came to show our 3 year old some animals and do something totally new for her, since we're city dwellers. The tour was fun and informative; we loved the turkeys that followed us around and laughed every time Katy did. She was very knowledgeable about the animals, and told us about each of the animals' backgrounds, as well as the process of learning how to take care of a small farm. It was very casual, which we appreciated throughout our stay because we were there to unplug for a day.

Summary: We had an amazing time. Katy and her husband are wonderful. Since meeting Oliver, Katy's adorable donkey, my son has decided he wants to be a veterinarian. Katy's Farm is a magical place for kiddos. He had so much fun. We are already planning our next trip to Katy's Farm! Thank you Katy for being so sweet to my son and taking him around the property to meet your animals.

Summary: Nice cabin adjacent to farmhouse. Overall larger than a regular hotel room with great porch, queen bed, TV, sofa, kitchen, and bath with shower. The host Katy was so welcoming. She even brought us coffee and French pastries in the morning. My family enjoyed the outdoor firepit and feeding carrots to the horses. Brownie, the mini, was so adorable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Summary: I was just looking for a quick getaway for the weekend to celebrate our 11th Anniversary and found this place totally by accident, it was awesome. I loved how Katy took the time to share all the animals with us and give us significant history as to how they all ended up at the ranch. Being around powerful animals is healing for both the spirit and mind. The chef made us an awesome breakfast and made us feel like family. Definitely recommend it!!

Summary: A slice of happiness! Relax under the big sky with resident horses, donkeys, and goats to keep you company (fyi they like carrots and apples). It's only ~2 miles away from Alpine where there is a grocery store and a few restaurants. The cabin is quaint and rustic with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster over, coffee maker, and table setting.

Summary: What a great little place to stay. Enjoyed our visit with family & enjoyed meeting Katy & her family. Not just her husband & kids but her farm animals. If you give the donkeys, horses, etc carrots, be ready to get more because they will want more every time they see you. 5 star visit & first time user of VRBO. Thank you Katy & Billy
