Beautifully remodeled duplex home built in 1914 with Equestrian Motif throughout is the perfect atmosphere for your Lexington stay and convenient to all attractions and amenities. Located in one of Lexington's most desirable and stylish neighborhoods, Mentelle Park, and adjacent to Chevy Chase and Kenwick. Enjoy Lexington like a local in this quaint spot near downtown, UK campus/Kroger Field, Keeneland, college basketball's one-and-only Rupp Arena, and a short drive to the Kentucky Horse Park.
Spacious open floor plan with lots of natural light and a newly renovated, fully functional large eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The space is an entertainer's dream! Bedroom 1 closes off as does bedroom 2 which has a twin bed as well as a trundle bed. Off street parking for 1-2 vehicles is provided behind the house.

The neighborhood surrounding Kathy’s Place is absolutely lovely and very community and locally driven. Walking around the area is inspiring; the architecture and preservation is beautiful! Located a block from Ashland: Henry Clay's Estate which was established in 1811 and is a beautiful preserve of historic property and nature. Tons of shopping, restaurants and bars in Chevy Chase, Downtown and the Warehouse Block. Grocery, liquor store, drug store all within a mile.
Lextran picks up nearby and has frequent scheduled runs to Downtown and Keeneland Race Track. Location is about a $5 Uber/Lyft to downtown/Rupp Arena. 40502

Summary: Kathy’s Place was an ideal experience for our daughters graduation weekend. The house was decorated so cute and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was close to downtown and UK. The host was very accommodating and communicative. We only had one small issue and it was resolved quickly.

Summary: My husband and I spent two nights here while in town for Family Weekend at UK. It was a very short drive to campus, and the house is conveniently located close to a bakery and restaurant as well. The home is charming, comfortable, clean, and cute! As an life-long horse owner, I absolutely loved the equestrian decor. Make sure to bring along necessities for morning coffee as the kitchen is stocked with appliances and accessories, but we did forget to pack coffee and sugar - we’ll know for next time. The welcome basket of treats and beverages was a wonderful touch. This is on our short list of places to stay when we’re in town to visit our daughter!

Summary: This place was as advertised. Great place for a small family in the heart of everything in Lexington. House is located in a safe area, property manager was very helpful and even allowed us a early check in since we arrived early. We give it 5 stars all the way around

Summary: Always a pleasure visiting Lexington and staying in this lovely cottage home. We enjoy the historic residential neighborhood. Easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. A little longer walk to downtown but worth the effort!

Summary: Lovely home in great location. Second bed is a somewhat uncomfortable daybed with a trundle. When we left we packed all of our items but inadvertently left refrigerated items in a bag on the counter. We went to breakfast and returned to the rental to pick them up. The cleaning crew was there and we announced our presence loudly multiple times. Getting no response, we picked up our refrigerated items and left. Later that evening I got an unexpected and rude call from the cleaning staff regarding our return to pick up our remaining items.
