Positive: Our stay offered a truly special experience, defined by amazing service and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were a real highlight; their hospitality was exceptional. Merta, in particular, was an excellent driver and guide for our day tour, offering great local insights and making the trip memorable—highly recommended! The room itself was fantastic, with breathtaking views to match. The main challenge is the location's accessibility to central Ubud. While the setting is peaceful, getting into town by car can be a real challenge due to heavy traffic, turning a short distance into a long journey, so planning is essential. Taxis need to be booked in advance. The ridge walk offers much better scenery on foot, but it is not ideal in the rain. Overall, a great retreat if you don't mind being a little further from the action and value exceptional service.

Negative: Shower both hot water on and off and pressure. The breakfast was ok but nothing special, also service very slow.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Every detail during my stay reflected high-quality service and genuine care for guests. Positive: Our stay here was absolutely incredible - truly one of the best stays and overall experiences of our entire two-week trip. The views and facilities are fantastic, from the stunning pool overlooking the landscape to the beautiful rooms. There are so many activities included, like the 8am yoga classes, traditional Balinese dance performances at dinner, and live music in the evenings. It made every day feel special. The food is delicious with great variety across the different restaurants, and our hibachi night was so much fun. But what really made this place unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. I got sick near the end of our stay, and the level of care they showed me went far beyond anything I expected. They brought complimentary teas to my room, checked in regularly, and even made a special soup for my stomach even though it wasn’t on the menu. Their kindness meant so much. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is perfect, but it’s the people who truly make this place exceptional. They went above and beyond for us every single day, and we are so grateful. Highly, highly recommend !! this was the best part of our trip.
