Positive: The price compare to the other places around. But stil… I would expect more of such an expensive place. It felt like overpriced and because of the location they get away of it..

Negative: Very outdated and therfore a not clean-feeling in the bathroom. A friendly face at the enterance would be nice.

Positive: There were a lot of Taiwanese breakfast options, which also meant that I didn't know/recognize half of the things. It tasted alright and there was more than enough.

Negative: Breakfast wasn't at the hotel. The eggs were too salty in my opinion.

Positive: Nothing really great about this hotel.

Negative: The hotel itself is nothing special at all. Breakfast is provided off site at a canteen location. The food was of mediocre quality. The hotel location requires some significant up and down hill walking which can be difficult with luggage. To be honest most hotels here have the same issue, but other hotels seem to be picking up and dropping their customers to the train station. We had to walk and the staff made no effort to advise if they can help. Room itself was fine but way over priced for the quality, but this appears to be the same for most hotels in this area.

Positive: Location is too good to reach toy train station/zhaoping station . Very near to forest recreation area.

Negative: I didn't like the hotel breakfast for which you need to walk 10 mins from hotel and room size congested for 4 ppl . Also hot water supply is not good. There was no restaurant in the hotel and we were just heating our food .

Positive: we choose this hotel because it’s location. it’s a 10 minutes walk from Alishan train station. Parking is free. we parked our car at the hotel and used the train and walking to get around the park. Although it shows its ages, the room and beds are comfortable. Beds are electrically heated with a dial control. That makes it easier to deal with room without a heater in a cold night. And front desk provides helpful recommendations about touring the park.

Negative: It’s an old style hotel with outdated rooms.

Positive: The room was big and relatively clean. Just outdated but it's fine. It was a last minute booking for us so we didn't have a lot of options. We've read some pretty bad reviews so we expected the worst. The staff was nice though. Note that you DO need tickets for breakfast even though the man at the reception desk says you don't. He just doesn't understand 😂

Negative: The beds were SO hard. It's s really really loud and noisy there, you can here every movement of your neighbors. Don't expect a good night rest if you sleep here. Also we had to go for a mosquito hunt before bedtime. And very expensive.

Positive: Room equipped with cold water dispenser. Toilet seat was heated.

Negative: Room was facing the road and early risers for the sunrise viewing gathered by the road and made quite a lot of noise. There is a heater in the room but you cannot adjust temperature or blower speed.

Positive: The location was amazing, great to be right up in Alishan for when we took the morning training and it was right next to food and shops. Plus, the staff were super friendly and the place was clean. I recommend the firefly tour at night!

Negative: It wasn’t the most updated, but it was clean and a nice place.
