Positive: The apartment had everything we needed. We had a great stay. Kimaner (owner) was very kind to us and answered fast to any of our questions. It is situated in a residencial area, so it was quiet and we felt safe. We recommend having a car since it is up on a hill. The sunsets are really nice too.

Positive: The view was nice...mountains on one side ocean on the other (the sunsets are gorgeous). The hospitality unmatched.

Negative: Some minor repairs were being done to.the adjacent apt but I understood the urgency. The host was amazing in her communication and her willingness to assist with everything wherever possible.

Positive: We had a great 4 night stay at this apartment. The host met us and gave us a tour, it was very welcoming. Its in a quiet residential neighborhood not far from the main road. It was peaceful in the morning other than the crowing roosters, which are everywhere on the island, and to be expected. It felt safe here, the neighbors were friendly. Access to the apartment was easy with a lockbox key attached to the door. We loved having a fridge/freezer, oven/stove, coffee pot, and panini press. We cooked all of our meals on this trip. The A/C unit in the bedroom worked really well so we stayed cool sleeping at night. This was a great booking for accessing Trafalgar falls, our canyon experience tour, Champagne reef and Scotts head. Would love to stay here again! Thank you.

Positive: Kan Xio has two apartments, we stayed in one with a smaller living room and a little porch. Although we could have wished for the bigger kitchen/living room as we were three people travelling together, the porch more than made up for the smaller indoor space. The apartment is very well equipped, the host had put some water end beer in the fridge to welcome us, and we had coconuts from the garden whenever we wanted to. It is situated quite high up in a the quiet community of Pointe Michel, but as Norwgians we are used to walking and found the walk down to the main road very easy. From there it was no problem catching a local, cheap bus/minivan to Scott's Head, Soufriere and Champagne reef. The local bus to Roseau runs straight past the property. We stayed three nights, and as there are few restaurants nearby we opted for lunch out, end dinner on the porch two days. The last night we had lovely, simple. local fish at Lil's place on the main road. Note that you will have to let Lil know you are coming a day in advance to be guaranteed food.

Negative: I often find that I miss having a leaflet from the host with recommendations and a map of places to eat, to shop and to go. This sort of general information would be nice to have.

Summary: Absolutely lovely stay in this part of Dominica!

Positive: The apartment has everything a traveler needs. The host, KanXio is wonderful. She’s very helpful. The location is good. Very quiet. Friendly neighborhood. 10 minutes to a grocery store. 20 minutes to Rousseau. 10 minutes to champagne reef. The apartment offers lots of tv apps.
