Positive: The location of this property is incredible. View from our room (204) was amazing. One can hear the sound of river all day long and on the other hand can spend hours looking at the mountains. They also have a private road/staircase that directly goes down to the river. The host couple is very friendly and helpful. The room we wanted wasn’t available as the hotel was totally full, but they made sure that the desired room was available by next morning. All the staffs, Rohit, Shammi were really nice and went far and beyond to help out.

Negative: Few things need to keep in mind before you book this place. 1. This is more like a homestay, so you might not get everything what you normally get in a hotel. 2. Due to the wedding season we felt the front/road facing rooms could be a bit noisy, maybe not same for the offseason. 3. Rooms aren’t soundproof, so our sleep was hampered one night by the sound of some other boarders/staffs opened the main door in the midnight and the hard bang of the room-door. 4. Taste of food can be improved.

Summary: We had an excellent time at Kailasham and would love to come back again.

Positive: The host family make you feel at home! They checked in on me to make sure I had dinner and was overall having a good time. During (free) breakfast, we had excellent conversations! Enjoyed my short stay!

Negative: Nothing. Bed was comfortable, there was hot water for shower and people were nice!
