Positive: For the price we paid, I was shocked at how nice it was. The amenities bar complete with tea and bath salts was nice, and I liked that it probably reduced waste as opposed to having it all in the rooms. We were only there overnight, so we didn't need much. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable. You can choose your pillow:)

Positive: If there would be a rate 11 this hotel deserves it. Breakfast buffet Japanese + Western buffet. Huge range of free toiletries. Pyjama &slippers in the room.Every evening free Curry. Very helpful reception staff. Taniguchi the receptionist who speaks excellent english helped me with a clinic who does acupuncture. I had a swollen knee. With two sessions my knee was pain free I also had reflexology. Highly recommended. Super location. Walking distance from Kagoshima Chuo station.

Positive: Nice hotel - medium walk from Kagoshima Chuo station, can also take tram or bus. Good breakfast buffet and drinks machines . Laundry machines work well. great city view. Pillow selection. Amenities car.

Negative: aircon and hallways smelled like cigarette smoke at certain times. Need to fit a washing line in the bathrooms.

Summary: Nice hotel with friendly staff, good buffet and amenities, great view of Sakurajima.

Positive: Hotel is located in quite a center of nightlife district of Kagoshima city. It is walking distant to the commercial area, to the seaside and to public park. The hotel staff was very helpful, helping me arrange the taxi for next morning and I was able to check in 45 minutes before check in time. They provided the variety of shampoos and conditioners at the lobby where you could pump into small cup and use in the room. This is very interesting. CIty view from my room was good, breakfast buffets were included both Japanese and western options.

Positive: Hotel is in a great location and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of pillows, shampoos and other amenities available for guests. For a short stay, it is a great hotel.

Negative: The hotel itself feels a little old and in need of a face lift. Rooms are fine for short business / weekend trips.
