Summary: My family of 5 enjoyed our trip to the Black Hills and our stay in this cabin! It is a fun location not too far from Keystone that feels quiet and tranquil. We are big fans of National Parks and Monuments, which is what brought us to the area. We were mostly active during our days, and only spent time at the cabin in the evening. This is a historic cabin that has been updated with modern conveniences. The only issue I had was because of the unseasonably cool weather, the cabin needed to be closed up and the lack of circulation caused me some breathing issues with the dust and allergens of 100 years. If you have asthma, this might not be the place for you! Otherwise, it was a fun cabin for our adventures.

Summary: This was a very cute cabin awash with history. Very peaceful with close proximity to Mt Rushmore, Keystone and Custer Park. Wildlife did not disappoint with a huge herd of buffalo being the highlight. Turkeys and deer to greet us in the morning. Will definitely recommend to others!
