Summary: My husband, two adult children, and three grandchildren stayed a week at Dakota View. It was PERFECT! Very clean, plenty of space and property manager was very involved with the comfort of our stay. The grandkids had a blast swimming off the dock. We had a wonderful time. We will be back!

Summary: Lovely view of the lake, lots of space to spread out in the comfortable cabin. Responsive host. Make sure to BYO towels and paper products. The Wheaton Historical Museum and docent were delightful. It was a very peaceful stay.

Summary: Cabin had lots of room and easy check in access. Kitchen well appointed with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. No floating dock as in photos on VRBO. We were there in early August and the lake was algae filled. Swimming required a good shower afterwards. Very comfortable and clean. A few glitches with appliances but owner was responsive.

Summary: The cabin was roomy enough for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. The listing had stated a paddleboat and a floating platform, both of which were not available. Also, I have never stayed at a VRBO property where I had to supply my own TP, towels, soap, bonfire wood, and such. A lot of extra packing... Overall, this property was clean and comfortable. The location (the cabin is almost right on the lake which was so relaxing) and the lake itself was great. We met the neighbors, who all were very friendly. Communication with the property manager could've been a little more timely in their response but all questions were answered and Jessica seemed very friendly in her messages.

Summary: The check in/out instructions were very detailed and clear. The property was spacious, decorated tastefully, well maintained and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the boat landing.The beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows were clean. The living room was our favorite room with the big windows overlooking the lake! Would definitely book again!

Summary: This place was perfect for lake access. We didn't have a boat, but we brought a kayak and fished right off the deck. We caught 5 different varieties of fish, which was really fun. Unfortunately the water was very green and blue aglae, so we could not swim, but we can't always predict what mother nature has in store. The view from the living room was amazing and we were able to watch pelicans and who ever was fishing on the dock. And the sunsets were beautiful. The house overall, was good and we loved that there was 2 king beds and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are pretty simple, I would have liked some kind of end table on each side of the bed, but we made it work with what we had. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed. The host was very friendly and great at communicating. She had a binder with everything about the cabin and the area. We found that very helpful.
