Positive: The lodge owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. They gave us a delightful tour of their fruit orchard after treating us to a fresh mango smoothie. We had dinner with them, and the food was not only delicious but generously portioned. Their 15-year-old son expertly arranged all our transfers and organized our safari to Udawalawe National Park—the picnic breakfast basket they prepared exceeded all expectations! Our room and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

Positive: The Jungle Lodge is very close to the Udawalawa National Park which made it perfect Location for our stay. Even before we arrived the Family arranged the Taxi ride for us. The Family took really good care of us - Welcome Drink, super delicious Dinner and also the Safari for the early morning on the next day the Owner did on its own. The safari was great and we saw many animals and had a great breakfast stop within the Park with selfmade breakfast from the Jungle Lodge. All in all, great location and very friendly and caring Family. Thank you!!

Positive: I am happy with the choice of Udawalawe Jungle Lodge as my accommodation. This accommodation is located in front of the Udawalawe National Park. Not only that, the view is very beautiful, but elephants also come to this accommodation frequently. We saw elephants twice a day. This place has a very peaceful environment. There are many fruit trees in the garden and we got to taste them. We also got a very clean room. We got all the necessary facilities. Also, the staff was very friendly. They talked to us well. They provided us with a lot of delicious food for our meals. If you are going to Udawalawe, the jungle lodge is the best place to stay. I recommend it 100%. Best hotel in udawalawe

Positive: Amazing place, location, room and host. The room was very clean and we’ve got everything we needed. The hosts made very good meals for us. Also we did safari with the hotel. This was just perfect we have seen so many animals! Also at night we saw Elephants so close to the hotel.

Positive: The hosts were so lovely and couldn't do more to help. Our room was big clean and comfortable. They cooked us generous and delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Served us fruit fresh from their garden which they were kind enough to show us around. They organised us transport to our next accomodation and also organised for us to go the elephant transit orphanage and a fantastic safari package at a great rate (also packing us a big breakfast to take). The location is quiet and close to the park entrance. Thanks to the whole family again!

Positive: Good condition room,good safari,good food and good taxxi service provide this hotel .I saw the elephants coming to the front elephant fence right from the balcony of the hotel.I recommend this hotel to foreigners who wish to visit Udawalawe.I hope to come back to this hotel.
