Positive: We had a wonderful stay at the Jungle Lodge in Bharatpur, just a short distance from the amazing Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary. The owners were incredibly welcoming and open‑hearted, and they prepared truly delicious homemade food for us throughout our stay. It was a great choice for our family—comfortably arranged even though we needed two rooms. The atmosphere was calm, friendly, and perfect for relaxing after a day in the national park.

Negative: A small note: they only accept cash from non‑Indian tourists (as you need UPI), but there’s an ATM nearby, so it wasn’t a problem.

Summary: Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bharatpur, especially nature and bird lovers!

Positive: The Host, Shekhar and his parents are very warm and welcoming. Aunty makes Amazing food, i like simple, fresh, healthy, stomach friendly food. The property matched my expectation. The Terrace and balcony is well maintained, i also liked the fresh kitchen garden. Very close to the bird sanctuary, just 10 minute walk !

Negative: Rooms on the ground floor can be better ventilated, little dampness in the rooms (maybe due to winter). More staff can be hired to reduce the burden of hosting a large group of people during peak travelling season to Bharatpur.

Summary: It was a very good experience, very friendly and visionary hosts.
