Positive: Call my husband and I arrived at the property after the hurricane. Apparently with all services down we were unaware that the property did not receive our booking and they couldn't contact us to let us know that they had no power and should not have received any guests. Out of desperation we contacted the property owner who lives in Florida. We would have been stranded had he not found a room for us by calling several people. He could have turned us away but he allowed us to stay.

Negative: No fault of the property owner but there was no power at the property after the hurricane which means no AC. It was almost impossible to sleep in that heat. I walked with a small hand fan that was charged enough to last us the night. Also, the total amount you are charged online IS NOT the actual total!!! There are additional fees that you don't receive until you arrive at the property. I definitely did not like the lack of transparency.

Negative: There was no bath soaps or shower gel in the bathroom. There’s was only one Toilet paper. And there was only one garbage bag in the bin so when it was full there wasn’t any there to replace it

Positive: The manager Pete was great he was there any time I needed him to help out with anything, definitely a great place to stay. I stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Negative: Roof top pool was beautiful but the water was too cold to swim if I had a suggestion it would be to heat the water in the Jacuzzi & pool!

Summary: Great comfortable safe place to stay right off the highway!
