Positive: The quietness was great. The staff went over and beyond. We were very well looked after. We will certainly stay again, if we are to go to Goondiwindi.. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

Positive: The room was clean and tidy and the lady at the reception was very nice. The motor inn has very well-kept gardens and security gates that close after 7:30pm (You get a code to open them) Car spot out side your room and I'd imagine it would be great for children as there was a good sized pool in the central courtyard.

Negative: We stayed here while travelling through Goondiwindi and unfortunately arrived during a very busy weekend with the Goondiwindi Cup and a motocross event in town. Accommodation was at a premium, and had I known, I would have chosen to stop elsewhere. Racegoers returned late and continued partying outside our room, so we didn’t get much sleep. The Motor Inn is also located near the highway, and the noise from passing trucks was noticeable. With demand so high, the room rate was around $100 more than their usual price, which was disappointing. It would be helpful if Booking.com highlighted major local events or unusually high pricing so travellers can make more informed choices. I did notice some good accommodation options in town closer to restaurants and pubs, so I may try one of those next time.

Positive: The staff were friendly for the brief moment we interacted, check in. The room was clean, decor fresh.

Negative: The room and bed were small for a large person like myself. Hence there being no space to fit a dining table.
