Positive: We really enjoyed our time here. Cottage is beautifully done. Bed was super comfy. We loved the quiet location. The lounge sofas were really comfy which is so nice when you want to sit around a bit in the evening. The kitchen was pretty well kitted out with Al slow cooker and air fryer as well as all the usual items you’d expect. Nice to have a small utility area to store coats and shoes too. We loved this area of Scotland. Fish and chips on the doorstep were amazing.

Negative: As others have said the motion sensor light was really irritating and sometimes a little funny. I showered in complete darkness one day. Which wasn’t a huge problem but could be if you were older. A little more cutlery wouldn’t go amiss it was a tiny bit shy. But really it was clean tidy and a great place to be.

Positive: A comfortable, large and very well presented cottage in a nice location, great features with everything you would need, nice spacious bedrooms, a very nice bathroom, great shower (*),private parking. Really nice decor throughout. Welcome basket is lovely touch too.

Negative: (*) The ‘only’ odd thing, was a motion sensor for the lights in the bathroom, leaving you in darkness after only a few minutes, which isn’t great when you’re in the shower where the sensor doesn’t detect you. But apart from that, as stated above the bathroom is really nice
