Other Policy • your transfers to and from joali maldives will be booked by the resort based on your international flight arrival/departure flight, • on your arrival, our hosts at velana international airport will meet you at the arrival area holding our joali board who will then assist you to the seaplane check-in counter. after check-in, our team will escort you to our lounge at the airport where you will be able to rest, relax, and enjoy refreshments while waiting for the seaplane to be ready to board, • please share your flight details with the property at least 7 days before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer, • all flight schedules are received one day prior to the date of transfer, • duration: approximately 40 minutes between male’ airport and joali maldives. please note that seaplanes may make a stop in another resort en-route. the journey time may therefore exceed 40 minutes based on the flight schedule. for maximum comfort, we recommend booking a private seaplane which flies directly to/from our island, • seaplane company will use its best endeavors to ensure that arriving passengers are departing seaplane airport within 2 hours from the time of check in at seaplane terminal, • operational hours: seaplanes are operational only during daytime. latest international arrival to male should be 15:30, children 5 years and below stay free of charge as per maximum occupancy per villa. they eat free from infant and junior gourmet menus when dining in restaurant, • children aged 5 years old and below can stay complimentary in a villa accompanied by at least one parent/guardian, • children below 12 staying in water base villa will need to sign a liability waiver form, please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in / making the payment at the hotel. please note that property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes, please note that for privacy and safety reasons, drones are strictly not permitted to be flown at joali.

Positive: The quality of Joali’s design was superb. every detail was beautiful and harmonious. It is a very relaxed and sophisticated place at the same time. The main like was the staff, they were all genuinely outstanding.

Negative: The food and beverage was a lovely mix of choices, however we did feel it was a bit pricey.

Summary: A fabulously relaxing and luxurious holiday. We look forward to returning
