Positive: This hotel was perfect for a few night stay in Batukaras. The owner Adi is really phenomenal. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and was able to change my room when the AC didn't work to my comfort. All of the staff are very friendly, even though I didn't speak the local language.

Negative: My only complaint was that the AC did not work very well in my hotel room. But Adi was able to change my room and I slept great after the switch. Thank you Adi!

Positive: The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach and plenty of nearby restaurants. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He assisted us with surfboard rentals, motorbike hire, and even helped book our onward transport, personally driving us to the bus pickup point (for a small fee). The room was spacious, with two large beds that comfortably fit both me and my friend, and it included convenient amenities like a clean drinking water dispenser.

Negative: The hot water took a while to heat up in the shower, though this wasn’t a major issue for us. The bathroom didn’t have a window or extractor fan, so smells tended to linger after use.

Summary: We highly enjoyed our stay here — so much so that we decided to extend it. The location, helpful host, and comfortable r

Positive: It’s very central, close to warungs, you can walk there and near to the beach :) Adi and his family are very nice! I could rent a scooter for 60 per day and the room was fine! Very simple but all you need. Even a water dispenser was in the room!

Negative: Cold shower, but in the end wasn’t that bad because the weather is alwazy very humid so a cold shower is acutually good :)

Positive: Jelajah homestay was great in many ways ! Adi and his family are some of the best hosts we have met, always ready to help and making sure you have everything you need. Adi's dad even got us a fresh coconut from the garden ! Adi organised our scooter (with surf rack), our transfer to the train station when we left, gave us informations about the area and where to explore, surf, eat... The room is affordable, spacious and comfortable with a nice private terrace. The place also has its own little supermarket and snack restaurant. It is 5 min walk to the beach and to many places to eat. We had originally booked for 2 nights and stayed almost 2 weeks, highly recommend !! Thanks again Adi and family for making us feel right at home, we hope to see you again !
