Summary: We stayed for one night and went to a show at the Grand Theater. Hotel is convenient to walk downtown Wausau and to the Grand. Enjoyed our stay. Wished we had more time to spend at the hotel. Great amenities, location and staff.

Summary: This was a Valentine’s Day trip. So we booked the room with the fireplace and the hot tub. Upon arrival, the fireplace did not work. The maintenance man came up and could not fix it. I approached the front desk saying I would like either a refund or maybe a free breakfast which they did eventually give us. After dinner, we hopped in the hot tub and could not turn off the cold water. So we had to get out get dressed and call maintenance. He had to come from his home. It certainly was not the romantic getaway that we were looking for. The room was nice other than the carpet had big wrinkles in it.
