Positive: Secluded, peaceful, great view, very relaxing

Negative: Irrigation pump came on every morning around 5am and woke us up. Pump house is part of the house but it didn’t seem necessary to have it on this early. Mentioned it to owners but they didn’t seem to care. A dampener on an otherwise peaceful sleep. Hence I can’t give it a a 10, should be a 5 for sleep. 10 for other aspects.

Positive: This was one of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully designed, very spacious, and offers absolute comfort in every detail. The highlight is definitely the stunning pool with a breathtaking front view over the Douro – simply unforgettable. A perfect place to relax and enjoy an incredible stay. I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

Positive: Beautiful landscape. The house itself is really well decorated and the property is really well treated, with outstanding small details in the different leisure areas throughout the villa. The owners were really nice and made us feel comfortable and well received.

Negative: Small details. A mirror in the bathroom area would be handy. If you want to cook (that was not our case) there are a couple of things missing (a pan!).

Positive: I've been traveling for decades, never have I been to such a beautiful location and setting. The house is incredible too, with great thought to every detail. We hope to visit again.

Positive: This is the most beautiful country house we have rented. Small house for two with every comfort and the most beautiful landscape and view ever. Modern and tasteful in every detail. Quick response to our very few needs and questions. This deserves a rating above 10!!!

Negative: That we could only stay six nights. Next time we will do two weeks in better weather to enjoy the gorgeous infinity pool.
